| Abstract: | Type SS40038 electric locomotive, the first domestic product with microcomputer control, has been put into service on Baoji-Chengdu line.The paper describes the design concept of the microcomputer control system for domestic electric locomotive, and compares its characteristics with that of the imported locomotive which is disadvantageous to some extent.To make use of the advantages of microcomputer, we developed by ourselves the functions of fault diagnosis, memory and display. Prelimimary running results in that the general control performance of SS40038 locomotive has met the expected requirements. |
