| Abstract: | With the introduction and application of modern technologies in marine navigation, there have been impressive changes on the traditional navigation equipment and technology. Especially the implementation of the strategy of the E-Navigation will bring about profound influence on the future shipping industry. Through analysis of the likely changes it will bring on ships and seafarers, the author puts forward relevant measures to be taken by the maritime authorities, maritime colleges, shipping companies and seafarers. |
