| Abstract: | The development process of railway passenger cars in Russia and the former Soviet Union is expounded. The numbers of passenger cars possessed, manufactured nationally and imported in various periods, as well as the main technical parameters of passenger cars and the bogies in batch production are described. And the railway multiple units in Russia are introduced briefly. |
