| Abstract: | The mechanisms of 5 kinds of arch bridge strengthening techniques that have been in common use at present are described.The characteristics and applicability of the techniques are analyzed and specific applications of the techniques are discussed through examples of actual bridge projects.Finally,the authors' considerations for selection of appropriate methods for arch bridge strengthening are provided. |
