In grand depth operational,the technology of deep-sea warfare has attracted the attention of major naval powers.How to development deep-sea warfare and defense become new strategic point.As a branch of nuclear submarine,midget nuclear submarines have some advantages,which are the longer endurance,the more deep submerged,the better maneuverability and the stealthier.This article made a comparative analysis with warfareand collection of relevant and known information of U.S.and Russianon midget nuclear submarines.This article summarizes the history of development,analysis relevant technology and characteristics from that data.Finally,based on that information,conclusion new technology and forecast trends of midget nuclear submarines in the future.It will be an important inspiration for the developmentof related equipment and technology in China.
