In recent years,the automobile industry has achieved a spurt of development.Not only has the number of domestic cars soared,but also a large number of imported cars have emerged in the auto market.As the parts,vehicles and related technologies of these imported cars are basically in English marked,so this has higher requirements for education.Therefore,in the teaching of automobile majors in higher vocational schools,it is necessary to pay attention to the improvement of students'English proficiency to enhance students'automotive professional application ability and better meet the needs of the development of the times.However,judging from the current teaching status of automobile professional English courses in higher vocational colleges,there are still many problems,which need to be optimized and improved to meet the needs of social development at this stage.In this regard,the article analyzes the problems in the evaluation system of the automotive professional English course,and analyzes its optimization strategies,aiming to cultivate professional talents with strong comprehensive ability to meet the needs of social development.
