Tally Important to Carrier＇s Obligations of Keeping Cargo

According to the regulations of Maritime Law, carriers should take responsibilities covering the whole process from loading to discharging cargos. This thesis analizes that carriers how to make good use of tally resources to manage general cargos from six points, including tally stations, counting methods, handling over cargos and short cargos,checking damaged cargos, supervising the loading stowage, dunnage separation or assorting, signing papers for general cargos, and all these are their backbones.
