| Abstract: | The paper expatiates the relationship of locomotive reliability,maintainability with availability.As an example of one locomotive,it presents the evaluation method of its inherent and technical availability and points out that the integrative balance between reliability and maintainability design of locomotive should be considered in order to achieve the specified targets of availability. |
