| Abstract: | Based upon the analysis and comparison of the tractive characteristics of native major freight loco and diesel-electric loco, demonstration is made that electric locomotive poccesses advanced tractive characteristics not only in mountainous but also in plain terrain. It is proved correct the technique policy of railway tractive power named developing vigorously in electric traction and the strategy of Progressive electrification of busy main lines in Plain terrain. |
