| Abstract: | Application actuality of gantry container crane, technical improvements of rubber-tired gantry crane and some cases of application of rail-mounted gantry crane in foreign countries are presented in the paper. In practice, rubber-tired and rail-mounted gantry crane have their own advantages and disadvantages, which gantry crane is proper and reasonable choice for a terminal depends on individual situations of the terminal. |
