On Integrated Maintenance System of Shanghai URT

Shanghai urban rail transit has entered into the phase of rapid development.To ensure the safe,reliable,efficient and low-cost operation of rail network,a good maintenance supporting system for the equipments is essential.Consequently,a precise design of an integrated maintenance system for Shanghai urban rail transit is very important.The author brings forward a conception of integrated maintenance system with an analysis of its characteristics,and introduces the development trend,the working content and resource distribution of this system.Taking the construction and resource allocation of Shanghai rail transit maintenance system as an example,this paper compares the advantages and disadvantages between the conventional maintenance system and the integrated maintenance system,points out that the integrated system has more advantages over the former system, such as the improvement of the comprehensive efficiency, the upswing of the management level,the simplification of the institutional organization,the facilitation of network operation and the unification of management. Also, the author discusses an integrated solution for this comprehensive maintenance system and gives suggestions for the optimization of resources allocation. As the author holds, this research will provide a reference for efficient and low-cost operations and the management of Shanghai rail transit.
