摘    要:连接性是在对移动自组网进行规划与设计时需确定的重要基础性问题之一,目前一般研究的是物理连接性,而未考虑实际通信时的通信连接性.本文以IEEE 802.16a中所推荐的3种典型调制方式QPSK、16-QAM、64-QAM为例,研究了基于自适应调制技术的移动自组网的通信连接性增强机制.根据传送业务对端到端误比特率和对数据传送速率的要求,在节点间距离不同时,采用自适应调制方式,在保持网络正常通信、维持网络连接性的情况下,能够获得较大的网络吞吐量,同时可兼顾节点发射功率的要求.通过理论与数值分析发现,相对于传统的单一调制技术,自适应选择调制技术可在满足业务QoS要求的情况下,提高网络的连接性,进而提高网络的吞吐量.

Abstract:Connectivity is one of the important fundamental problems while planning and designing mobile ad hoc networks. Normally,the physical connectivity of networks is broadly investigated,but the communication connectivity of networks has not been taken into account. In this paper,the communication connectivity enhancement mechanism based on adaptive modulation for mobile ad hoc networks is deeply investigated on the basis of three typical modulation modes,namely QPSK,16-QAM and 64-QAM,which are recommended in IEEE 802.16a. According to the requirements for the bit error rate and date transmission rate of traffic,the adaptive modulation node to adopted to adapt to different node-to node distances to maintain normal communication and connectivity and large throughput of the network. At the same time,the requirement for the node transmission power is taken into account. By theoretical and numerical analysis and by comparison with the single modulation mode,it is found that the adaptive modulation satisfied the QoS requirements,improves network connectivity and increases the network throughput consequently.
