Abstract:There is broad prospect of the fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)in the application of the Anti-Submarine Warfare(ASW)because of its characteristics, such as low cost, long endurance, good maneuverability and wide range of searching. But the ASW theory and engineering practice for the fixed-wing UAV has just started, still facing a series of challenges in the development of the operation concept, the design of the operation process and the integration of the ASW loads. Here we introduce the development of the fixed-wing anti-submarine UAV in foreign countries, summarize the ASW concept and ASW missions of the fixed-wing UAV, analyze the operational control of the fixed-wing anti-submarine UAV, describe the basic composition and functions of the typical ASW loads of the
