This paper introduces the development and basic principle of the directed-energy weapon technology currently being developed abroad, and analyzes the potential application direction of the directed-energy weapon in the carrier and aircraft carrier fleet. In addi-tion, the paper analyzes the directed-energy weapons integration on the CVN 78 carrier .
