A New Urban Light Transport System

To meet the needs for urban transport,ULTra (Urban Light Transport), an innovative form of personal rapid transit is introduced. In contrast to many previous forms of public transport, there is no waiting, no stopping and no transfer within ULTra system, which can offer better and more available transport than any other means. This paper discusses the features and technical functions, argues ULTra is not only a complement to the existing forms of transport, but will replace the old mass transit paradigm for transport with a new concept based on just-in-time transit.
