| Abstract: | This paper summarizes longitudinal joints splicing techniques for widening old highway bridges,analyzes advantages and disadvantages and applicable conditions of various longitudinal joints splicing techniques in comparison,emphasizes on expatiation and analysis of treatment schemes for longitudinal joints splicing structures of hollow slab bridges,probes into major mechanisms of damages of longitudinal joints,and proposes improvement measures for longitudinal joints splicing techniques for widening old bridges. |
