准正六角形网格亚取样编码方法的研究

摘    要:在图象的数字化和图形、图像的显示上,正六角形网格比正方形网格更好。本文根据第二代图像编码技术的设计原理,将这一原理应用于图像压缩编码中,设计了准正六角形网格亚取样图像编码实现方法,即:从现有的图象数字化正方形网格阵列中抽取出一个类正六角形网格的亚(小)图象阵列。该方法的重建图象在边界特征保持及综合视觉效果上,明显优于同级的正方形网格亚取样方案。

Abstract:Because of heving more advantages, the application of Hexagonal Grid is a focus in the fields of Computer Graphics, Image Processing and Machine Vision etc. . In this paper, we present a new sub- sampling image coding scheme based on Hexagonal Grid, which changes square grid original images to small ones (sub -images) on semi-Regular Hexagonal Grid (SemiRHG). Results of stimulation show that SemiRHG method can derive better property on image edge holding and PSNR than square grid one, but their algorithm complexity degree is same.
