| 摘 要： | 针对指纹图像的特点对指纹图像二值化方法作了探讨，提出了指纹图像的二值化改进算法，该算法充分利用了指纹图像的方向特性，采用梯度法计算指纹的块方向图，将其量化为8个标准方向，以块方向代替点方向对指纹图像进行二值化。实验表明，此方法对于不同质量的指纹图像都有着令人满意的处理效果。

| Abstract: | This paper presents the algorithm of binarization to fingerprint imam. On the basis of this, a fingerprint image binarization method is improved. Firstly, Block orientation image of fingerprint is computed by gradients, turn it to eight standard directions, and binary the fingerprint image by block direction instead of point direction. Experimental results show that this algorithm can retain the majority of minutiae and can be applied to the images which have different qualities. |
