Abstract:It is difficult to analyze the uncertainty of the power and speed measurement in ship trials using tradition GUM method due to the complex sea conditions.Aiming at this problem,an uncertainty analysis method of ship powering performance based on Monte Carlo method was proposed,the main uncertainty sources in ship trials were investigated and the measurement model was established according to ISO15016 data processing method.Powering performance tests and uncertainty analysis on the teaching-training ship of Dalian Maritime University named’YUKUN’were carried out.The uncertainty level and main components of power and speed measurement were evaluated and the applicability of this uncertainty analysis method was verified.
