| Abstract: | Line 2 of Chongqing Rail Transit is the first straddled and elevated monorail ever constructed in China. In view of the line, problems are discussed for evacuating and rescuing passengers from the trains which stop on lines between stations in case of breakdown of engines. Different evacuation and rescue approaches for the passengers under various conditions in various transit sections are introduced with the selection of the rescue option for trains proposed. |
