| Abstract: | During the compaction of thick foundation bed by blasting for construction of a breakwater in deep waters, the feasibility of the parameters for compaction by blasting and the design of the detonating network were determined by pilot blasting. The paper presents an introduction to the technology, quality control, measurement and safety management of compaction by blasting. |
