| Abstract: | The use of the eddy-current braking princple for railway vehicles is a project of interest especially for high-speed trains though its hardware configuration and power supply concept alone are very demanding tasks already. In addition,a complex system manage- ment is required. As a result, an eddy-current brake has for the first time been used as a series feature in the ICE 3 motor train sets. |
