信号交叉口机动车等待区设计

对国内几种常见的机动车等待区类型进行了研究，提出应该从通行能力、服务水平、环境和安全等多个方面对机动车等待区进行评价。对于环形交叉口，设置机动车等待区可以有效增加交叉口的通行能力；对于非环形交叉口，设置机动车等待区则可以缩短待行机动车进入交叉口的时间，为保证交叉口完全清空，必须同时增大相位间的绿灯间隔，这使得通过设置等待区提高通行能力的作用非常有限。

Design of vehicle waiting area at signalized intersection

Based on the research of several commonused types of waiting area,this paper proposes a method to evaluate the waiting area from perspectives of capacity,level of service,environmental impact and safety,For roundabout,design the waiting area can increase capacity and improve the level of service effectively.For non-roundabout intersection,waiting area means to shorten the time for waiting traffic to enter the intersection,and clearance time needs to be increased accordingly to clear the intersection complet...
