| Abstract: | It is a difficult operation for the large ship to turn in the narrow water area.The Williamson Turn is a common method used in salvage.This paper introduces the operation methods of Williamson Turn and its characteristics.Especially it introduces the principle of Williamson Turn and its application in the narrow water area during piloting the ship.Also it states a few items which should be paid attention to. |
