Fundamental formulae for calculation of hydraulic friction factors are divided into two categories:one for design calculation,and the other for operation state analysis.It is stressed that the Colebrook's transition zone formula can be used in whole turbulent flow.Based on the popularity of computer and the adapted Colebrook's formula,puts forward a set of novel basic equations for computing operation states of single and multiple products transportation in a pipeline.With these innovations,hydraulic calculations of pipe flow would be more accurate and ideal,while the argument of how to district the turbulent and the trouble of separately calculating friction of different district may be canceled.
