| Abstract: | The article is aiming at studying the train position detection equipment as one of the key technologies in light rail system.The limitations of the traditional train position detection equipment were analyzed;the project scheme of ARTJZ-2 type axle counting system applicable to various rail track and ballast bed conditions was studied;the functions,performance and safety of the prototype of ARTJZ-2 type axle counting system were detected;and the mixed influence of light rail trains,cars and pedestrians on the system was tested.Results showed that ARTJZ-2-type axle counting system is fully applicable to light rail system and is a better choice for the light rail train position detection equipment. |
