Abstract: | The intelligent and connected vehicle concept, as a strategic direction, is crucial for the upgrading and transformation of the global automotive industry, which has rapidly developed from research and test verification to the next stage of demonstration applications and large-scale commercialization. Therefore a healthy regulatory environment needs to be created to accelerate the market access of innovative products.By focusing on the product management for intelligent connected vehicles, this paper reviews the relevant international regulations, standards, and best practices in other countries. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the adaptability of the current industrial policies, regulations, and technical standards in China. Finally this paper suggests the gradual and multifaceted development including establishment of standards, testing and evaluation, product tracing, after-sales service management as well as operation monitoring and performance feedback. |
