| Abstract: | In This paper, the method of local stress and strain was used to predict the fatigue life of bus body parts under high cycling load. The factors which caused errors and their correcting measures were analyzed. The model of initial residual stress relaxation was built. Finally, the calculating procedure for predicting the fatigue life of bus body parts with the method of local stress and strain was summarized |
