| Abstract: | This paper,through analyzing and sorting out the additional safety measures and requirements for bulk carriers adopted by IMO since 1993,provides some recommendations for ships carrying dry cargo in bulk to meet the additional requirements under SOLAS.The author also summarizes some key points for inspection of bulk carriers,based on his personal experience as an inspector. |
