| Abstract: | The flexible manufacture cell (FMC) is a modern technology developed noticeably in worldwide manufacturing practice. In order to give full play to the efficiency of this technology, this paper, after describing and discussing its basic concepts and characteristics, presents an approach on the optimization of production process based on FMC by applying the branch-and- bound method. |
