| Abstract: | This paper describes the design theory and system makeup of SDD8 diesel locomotive exported to Brazil. The difficult technical problems of hydrostatic drive system, such as high fault ratio, oil leakage and heavy maintenance work, have been solved. This locomotive has been running for about ten thousand kilometers without any faults and the system state is all right. |
