Research on Index System for Evaluating Warship Design

Aimed at the characteristics of naval vessels' design, based on the principles of system engineering, an index system of evaluation is set up by breaking down vessel's duties and technical performances. In the foundation of the index system, the viewpoint of total system, life cycle, user's requirements and synthesizing of traditional warship design and modern specialize engineering are all taken into account. The index system can be used for the evaluation, tradeoff analysis and optimizing of warship's design. And how to use the index system is also explored initially.
