| Abstract: | It is a key technology for automobile/engine test to measure the rotation speed in transient operation status. Based on analysis of traditional speed measuring methods, this paper presents a new method, through which we can measure rotation speed more quickly in higher precision with the same speed sensor. The fundamental theory of the new measuring method mentioned above is presented in detail. At last, a comparison is made in the respects of measuring time and precision between two speed measuring systems, which are based on the new method and the traditional method respectively. |
