On Attracting Passengers through Metro Line Selection

Taking Guangzhou Line 5 as an example, this paper discusses the significance of attracting passengers through selecting the line, the role of passenger flow for the whole line by comparing the changes of the running length, the difficulties in the project construction, the investment of the project and the revenue of the scheduled operation.The author argues,by adding both Zhongshanba Station and Zoo Station to Line 5,there will be an obvious increase of passengers of the whole line.
