| Abstract: | The quantity, location, gradient, shape and size of cross section, excavation method of shafts and other factors are interrelated in the design and construction of inclined shafts and vertical shafts in extra-long tunnels, which should be demonstrated comprehensively and adequately during designing in order to establish a reasonable design and construction plan and achieve the purpose of speediness and safety. |
