介绍了北京市智能交通管理系统的结构和内容，即两大系统，智能化交通指挥调度系统和现代化交通管理信息系统，并详细论述了其中的八个项目。各项目以动、静态交通信息和交通管理业务为对象，以信息技术、自动控制技术、交通工程技术等ITS技术方法和系统工程方法为手段，实施交通指挥调度、交通综合信息管理、交通警务管理、交通业务管理的自动化和高效率；最后对系统完成后的运行效益进行了评估。

Building Intelligent Traffic Management Systems to Provide First-Rate Traffic Insurance For 2008 Olympic Games

This paper introduces the structure and content of Beijing ITMS which indudes two big systems such as intelligent traffic dispatching system and modernized traffic management information system， 8 items of it have been discussed in detail. which are based on dynamic and static traffic information or traffic management tasks or business，take IT technology, auto-control technology，traffic engineering technology and systems engineering technology to be tools, to make traffic dispatching, traffic comprehensive information management, traffic police business and service management automatic and high-efficient. This paper assesses the efficiency of post-project at the final section.
