| Abstract: | The importance and necessity of construction of Fuzhou-Xiamen Railway are expounded in this paper emphatically from the following aspects:quickening the progress to promote the construction of an economic flourishing zone at west seashore of the Taiwan Straits, speeding up the construction of different coastal ports of Fujian Province, promoting the development of tourist business in southeast coastal cities of Fujian Province, strengthening the communication constructions for national defence in order to promote the unity of the country at an early deate, etc. |
