Application of Risk Management in an EPC Project

The design units as general contractor of the engineering design, purchasing, construction are entirely re sponsible for the construction project quality, safety, schedule, cost and environmental protection. Com paring with traditional engineering design, the management difficulty and risk are added. This article dis cusses how to identify and evaluate the risks in construction from the aspects of design, purchasing and construction. According to the evaluation level, the measures for unacceptable risks are put forward, in order to achieve the purpose of risk management.
