Key Methods for Knowledge Engineering Development in Automobile Manufacturing Industry

Based on the analysis of the differences between the concepts of knowledge management and knowledge engineering,this paper proposes that knowledge engineering is an efficient,accurate and scientific knowledge sharing and knowledge application system established by enterprises in engineering R&D activities,and is the key to maintain the core competitiveness of technological innovation.According to the characteristics of engineering R&D activities and business practice of automobile manufacturing enterprises,this paper summarizes three core methods to promote the development of knowledge engineering,which are processes based knowledge utilization,knowledge based engineering tools and services based software platform.In this paper,the future trend of knowledge engineering development in manufacturing industry are pointed out,which are industrial big data application and intelligent algorithm.
