| Abstract: | This paper introduces the development process and principle of the hardware and software of monochrome moving sign controlled with 8031 chip microcomputer and displayed with light-emitting diodes LEDs. The moving sign receives information through a serial interface and displays the information according to user confirmed mode. The screen can display Chinese characters, English letters and graphic patterns. Its funtions can meet the demands of displaying information for public places such as security markets, terminals and ports. |
