| Abstract: | This paper presents the construction features of the platform supported on steel box and steel pipe piles for the south temporary pier of the 3rd Nanjing Changjiang River Bridge,the calculation for mechanical conditions of lowering the steel pipe piles into river where water is deep and water current is swift,and also the calculation for stability of the platform. |
