Influence of High-Performance Concrete to the Cost of Railway Bridge Engineering

Very great differences exist at various aspects such as design and construction between high -performance concrete （HPC） and ordinary concrete. Such differences are bound to have a certain impact to the cost of passenger dedicated railway project. Based on the investigation and determination of HPC actual investment in Wuhan Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge Engineering, combined with the theoretical analysis of various factors which will affect the cost of HPC, certain references are provided for the HPC cost determination in super large bridges of passenger dedicated railway projects.
