| Abstract: | Based on analysis of the existing laws and regulations of China and the judicatory judgment in the recent years, the paper studies whether the maritime administration is entitled to claim compensation for the expenses and costs for mandatory pollution clean-up from the owner of the ship causing the incident, referring to the practice and experience of other countries and international organizations. |
