| Abstract: | The Hidden Markov model（HMM） is a widely used statistical model and it＇s used in life science,information science and intelligent traffic etc.This paper briefly described the basic principles of the hidden Markov model,core problem and the improved model,expounded the practical application condition of the model in traffic flow jam intelligence detection,collision warning and driver intention recognition and discussed the its application prospects. |
