| Abstract: | In this paper, considering that the aerodynamic characteristics are strongly influenced by the wake behind a vehicle, the relations among the rear body shapes, aerodynamic characteristics and the state of wake are clarified. The smoke tracing method is applied for showing the flows around a vehicle. The velocity and pressure distributions in the wake are also measured. |
