The highway port is a special comprehensive transporting hub and is the key link of the transit passage system. It is importantly significant to deepen the understanding of the port traffic characteristic for strengthening the management of the existing port and optimizing the design of the newly built port. Taking Shenzhen Huanggang Port being the largest traffic flow of highway port in China as an example, the article analyzes the port traffic composition and the traffic flow characteristics.
