Design of Seamless Transfer between Metro Station and Bus:Case Study on Financial Hi-Tech Zone Station on Guangzhou-Foshan Line

The quality of transfer between Metro station and bus will be improved if a good transfer design can be made. In this paper, the development trend and design principle of seamless transfer between Metro station and bus are analyzed, and the basic design principle is discussed. The transfer design of Financial Hi Tech Zone station on Guangzhou Foshan Line is discussed. The design principles include non stop transfer, humanization and safety. The design policies include shortening the transfer distance, ventilation mode selection and fire fighting design.
