| 摘 要： | 为了落实公共交通优先政策、改善公共交通出行条件，厦门市进行了多方式的公共交通建设。分析了大城市公共交通方式选择和厦门市公共交通发展的阶段特征，着重阐述了厦门市BRT近期和中远期的线网规划情况，并介绍了BRT首期通车工程和高架BRT升级为轨道交通的预留条件。厦门市BRT的规划实践表明：BRT是大城市现阶段较好的公共交通方式；建设高架BRT可与未来升级轨道交通相结合；与城市空间拓展和转型相结合，因地制宜地选择BRT建设方式。
