摘    要:介绍了基于S3C2440和MPG440的车载视频采集系统,该系统具有体积小,重量轻和功耗低等特点,与其他的车载视频采集系统相比,其编码压缩格式采用了当今广为流行的MPEG-4格式,为以后的网络化扩展奠定了基础。视频的编码压缩模块是整个系统的核心。文中采用的是TVP5150视频解码芯片和MPG440编码压缩芯片,其中TVP5150用于模拟视频的输入解码,MPG440用于对数字视频的压缩编码,它采用符合工业标准的16b/32b的双向主机接口,用来与视频解码芯片和主控制器进行通信,控制芯片采用的是基于ARM920T内核的S3C2440,其强大的处理能力完全满足系统的设计需求。

Abstract:A car video capture system based on S3C2440 and MPG440 is introduced,which is small,light and low in power consumption.Compared with other car video capture system,its format of coding is MPEG-4,which is a most popular format of coding,and has a good expansibility in internet.The core of the whole system is the video compression codec module.This system uses TVP5150 as the video decoder CMOS chip and MPG440 as the compression codec COMS chip.It can transform the analog signals into the digital signals.MPG440 has 16/32 double host computer,which meet the industry standard,and can be used to set up the communication between the main controller and the video decoder CMOS.The main controller is S3C2440 based on the ARM920T core.Its powerful handing capacity can fulfill the needs of the system.
