| Abstract: | Take the arch rib material strength as the prior condition, the paper studies limitation span of arch bridge with parabola and catenary as rational arch axis curve under dead load. On this foundation, the best range of rise-span ratio of arch bridge which reaches its limitation span is discussed. |
